Bob Haefner
Cousin
Our thoughts and prayers are with Virgil, Cheryl, Lynn and their families. My memories of Carolyn are that she was always smiling and enjoying life whenever our families were together. Bless you and may you rest in peace. Bob, Dawna, Jessica and Jacob Haefner

Uncle Bob
Carolyn was my first-born niece just 13 years younger than me, more like a baby sister. Her dad was my brother Ray.
Ray had a family operated bowling alley; both Lee and I worked there. Carol was there often, because both of her parents were always in the Bowling alley. She loved to dance to the jukebox with her uncles, and she learned to bowl at a very young age. Floriss Lanes was the place to be if you wanted to be a bowler. I was terrible at bowling, but she had her Dad, her Mom and Uncle Lee for coaches as well the Hall of Famer Don Carter who was an in house instructor and a great friend of the family. She became a very good bowler.
Carolyn learned from all of the people around her, she had a great sense of humor, a distinctive laugh, and good judgment. All she worked with appreciated her.
Little sister, my favorite niece that was only 13 years younger than me.. we wish you peace and rest, you will be missed.
