Cedonia June Rose Johnson was born June 19th, 1936 to Jason and Thelma Pitre in Slick, Oklahoma. She was the second of ten children. She attended school in Slick Oklahoma. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She met and married Searcy Johnson Jr and to this union five children were born. She later moved back home to Slick and then she moved to Bristow Oklahoma where she united with New Life International Worship Center, (formerly Duffey Chapel) where she was a faithful member until her illness.
She departed this life on September 26th, 2008 at her home in Bristow. June was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Carl,Johnny and Clarence Pitre. One sister Carolyn Sue and her special friend Otis Hammons. She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her daughters Janice Anderson, Karen Johnson, Rita Johnson all of Bristow, Oklahoma and Connie Williamson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. One son Terry Johnson of Bristow Oklahoma Two sisters Helen Mustin of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Darlene Colbert (Arthur) of Slick Oklahoma. Four brothers Glen (Joyce) Pitre and Wendell (Evelyn) Pitre of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Jason Pitre and Dwight Pitre both of Kansas City Missouri. Step-Mother Doris Pitre of Depew, Oklahoma. Ten grand children, fourteen great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews,relatives and friends.
