On Thursday, March 20, 2008, the Lord asked "Are you ready?" We said "no".
The lord replied, "She is". And so God called home his newest angel, Era Belle Hege Zavala, to live in eternal peace and comfort with him.
Era Belle was born in Lexington, NC on August 30, 1950, to Mary Elizabeth Musgrave Hege and Thomas Hawkins Hege. Era Belle was the third of seven children and a beautiful baby. Her beauty, both inside and out, were apparant from the start.
Era Belle was preceded in death by her father. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Angela Hege and her partner, Rogelio Aguilar, and grandsons Andrew Jose Hege and Christian Noah Hege, all of the home; her mother, Mary Musgrave Hege of Lexington; brothers, George Hege and his wife, Dorothy of Lexington, Charles Hege and his wife Becky of Lexington, Leon Hege and his wife Alanna of Lexington; sisters, Linda Sue Cavazos and her husband, Jose of Lexington, Debbie Ramos and her husband, Felipe of Lexington, and Deena Hege and friend Lisa of Walkertown; many nieces and nephews and a devoted best friend who was like a sister.
