Dear James, It's June 19th, Father's Day. Another Father's Day has gone by without you. Even though we no longer have you here with us, we have all of the wonderful memories of you to warm our hearts. I have a video of you teaching Lee how to ride his very first bicycle. I have photos of you holding Lee as a newborn. I have many other photos as well. You were the best Father to Lee. Lee will never forget what a wonderful father you were, and neither will I. I look at Lee and see you. It is a pleasant reminder. Thank you for being the best parent-partner a Mom could ask for. Lee misses you this Father's Day. Until we meet again. Love always, from Beth and Lee.

Dear James, Today is Memorial Day. I have thought of you all day long. I wasn't able to visit you today in Bristow, so I am writing to you. I don't know if anyone thought about putting a flag on your grave today, but I hope someone thought about it, and honored you that way. You served your country with selfless dedication. Although your name is no longer on a plaque along side mine on a door, you are still forever in my heart. Lee and I will remember and love you forever. Until we meet again. Love always, Beth

Dear James, Today is Easter Sunday. We miss you as much as ever. Here is a scripture for you. Psalms 106:1 (NIV)"Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." Love always. Until we meet again.
