Broken Arrow, OK
CHILDRESS
- Justin, was born January 2, 1981 with his identical twin brother, Rush, who he joined in Heaven on December 5, 2008. We know he his happy and fulfilled now being with Rush and the Lord. When his brother passed away in 2005, instead of twins, there was one. He was very hurt to lose his brother, but when asked he always would say "I have such a peace because I know Rushy's with the Lord and I'll see him again", that is what Justin held on to. Family and friends have great memories of watching the little twins grow up, they were like celebrities and inseparable. Justin loved Rush's children like they were his own:son, Zian 4 and daughter, Sadie now 10. Sadie told us she wanted to read a poem for Justin, for everyone to hear because her heart is breaking that he's not here anymore for her to see, he was the only thing that reminded her of her daddy.Justin always said I'm the only way they can see Rush for now and I'll be there for them like a father. Justin had a heart of gold, whenever there was a need for anything, he was there; he never said no, he would always say,"just tell when you need me and I'll be there". Two days before he left to heaven he was praying for two loved ones who were ill and said he could feel the presence of the Lord. He had a very tender heart for those who needed comfort and would pray for many who needed someone to lean on. He used to go to a neighbors home to pray and read the bible. One of his favorite scriptures she told us he liked to read, was Psalms 23.Justin was loved and cherished by his large family and friends. He had a great sense of humor and loved to watch OU football. He loved deer hunting and camping with his older brother,Chase. He worked as a partner with his dad in asphalt (Black Diamond). Every day he spent time with someone of his immediate family. Justin loved the Lord and his family and friends. He told his sister,Chanin that he was going to ask Mel to marry him and was looking forward to this new year and Christmas with family. Our lives will never be the same here without "the twins". Separation is sad, but we know that we will be with Justin and Rush in Heaven and never be separated again . . .this is our Faith, Hope and Peace! 2 Cor 4:18: So we FIX OUR EYES not on what is seen, but what is unseen.
