Pearl was born September 19, 1900 in Gibson County, Indiana to the late Claude Vernon Evans and Dicie Imogene Hord. Her stepfather, and grandfather to all of us was Carl Wilmer Jones and Pearl always considered him her spiritual father.
Pearl died March 5, 1984, in St. Louis County, Missouri
She was preceded in death by two sons Raymond Haefner, Albert Haefner. Survived by sons, Leland of, Birmingham, Alabama, and Robert Haefner, of Ballwin, Missouri, and one daughter, Darlene Hays of Florissant, Missouri several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Burial in Laurel Hills Memorial Cemetery, St. Louis County, Missouri
